Scott Davis, better known to the kids in the Bay Area as The Culinary Dude, has been teaching child and adult cooking classes both on his own as well as having been a resident chef/educator at Whole Foods in Los Altos, Ca. and ITK (In The Kitchen) Culinary, in Sausalito, Ca. for the past 5 years.
Davis’ degrees in both Early Childhood Education and Culinary Arts are a combination his two passions. His philosophy for all ages is to provide a hands-on, developmental approach to teaching and education in the kitchen. “The goal of my classes is to teach and inspire all participants' imaginations in the kitchen and to encourage their creativity as they learn a variety of cooking styles and techniques including, sauté, simmer, slice, bake and blend”. There is also an emphasis on providing skills that will carry over for the students use outside of the class.
Time: 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $45 student (a $5.00 discount per person is available if you sign-up with another person)
A $20 deposit is required to hold your space and the balance is due on the day of the class via cash or personal check. No refunds will be given after September 6th. The instructor will contact you for payment instructions.
